How can Cinnamon access data?

Cinnamon can report on any data source that is available to JavaScript (relational databases, document databases, file systems). The preferred way to access data is via a REST API.

What data is consumed by Cinnamon?

For a typical mandate or client report Cinnamon consumes the following data types via multiple API’s:

  • Portfolio (or Fund) Master Data

  • Point-of-time data (Valuation)

  • Period-dependent data (Returns, Transactions etc.)

  • Translations

  • Content from the Content Management System (CMS)
